Gaston Acurio - Astrid & Gaston - Lima
The peruvian chef, Gaston Acurio, famous for spreading Pervuvian food to a world audience, has opened his new Italian-Peruvian fusion restaurant in Lima. Called Los Bachiche the restaurant promises to merge Mediterranean and Peruvian flavours across its menu with the chef taking to Facebook last week to let the world see his new creations.
Gaston, who founded the Astrid & Gaston restaurant with his business partner Astrid Gutsche, has spent the weekend posting an amazing picture gallery of his new menu. In 2011 Astrid & Gaston was a new entry on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list placed at 42.
Fergus Henderson - St John - London
A film crew has been behind the scenes of London's iconic St John restaurant and created a fascinating look at a day in one of the world's best kitchens. The restaurant is run by chef Fergus Henderson who is famous for his Nose to Tail approach cooking philosophy and for presenting the cuts of meat that other chefs and restaurants may avoid.
The restaurant placed 41 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2011 and the video is a great look into Henderson's kitchen and just what makes the British chef one of the best around.

Alain Ducasse - Au Plaza Athenee - Paris
The world famous chef, Alain Ducasse, will host a five course dinner at the Hotel Bel-Air alongside the world famous restaurateur Wolfgang Puck. The French chef, Duccasse, runs a number of restaurants around the world including 45 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants List in 2011, Au Plaza Athenee in Paris.
Wolfgang Puck is an Austrian chef and is seen by many as the world's biggest restaurateur with over 20 venues around the world. This year he was awarded the James Beard Foundation lifetime achievement award for his contribution to American cuisine.
The pair will team up for the dinners beginning May the 11th.
