The World’s 50 Best ‘Bid For Recovery’ auction will goes live on July 3rd with over 150 lots of once-in-a-lifetime gastronomy experiences up for grabs.
The ‘Bid for Recovery’ is an online auction by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants supported by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, in aid of the restaurant industry as fine dining emerges from coronavirus lockdown. With over 100 lots of unique gastronomic experiences donated by some of the world’s best restaurants and eateries, food lovers will have the chance to help the industry recover and bag gastronomic experiences with some of the world’s best chefs, including Massimo Bottura, Mauro Colagreco, Dominique Crenn, Pía León and Virgilio Martínez.
The auction runs from July 3rd - 12th.

Bid for a gastronomic experience in the chef's hometown of Modena, made possible by S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. Staying two nights at Casa Maria Luigia including a tour of its artworks with Lara Gilmore Bottura and dinner at Francescana at Maria Luigia, the winning bidder will also have the chance to dine at Osteria Francescana, twice winner of The World's 50 Best Restaurants, and enjoy lunch at its sister restaurant, Franceschetta 58.
S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna have also provided two other gastronomic experiences including a VIP attendance at the 2021 Grand Finale of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition and a three-day stay at Villa Panna in Tuscany.
Fishing and Feasting in Peru with Mitsuharu Tsumura of Maido
Take a Peruvian seafood adventure with Micha Tsumura, chef-owner of Maido. As part of this three-day trip, you will experience Lima with the chef’s insider tour of the local markets and eateries. You will enjoy full tasting menus with drinks pairings at Tsumura’s own restaurant, Maido, and at Ámaz, the restaurant serving unique Amazonian cuisine from chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. You will then travel with Chef Tsumura to the north coast of Peru for a fishing trip, where you will explore the local beaches and cook the day’s catch.
