The Michelin guide for Seoul 2019 has been released with the country boasting two new two-starred restaurants: Alla Prima and Mingles.
The guide in Seoul features a total of 26 restaurants with Michelin stars but we wanted to take a closer look at some of the beautiful dishes the newest two-star restaurants are producing.
First up is the Mingles restaurant by chef Mingoo Kang - a place that aims to surprise and delight with a modern take on traditional Korean cuisine. Elevating classic flavors and pairings with the application of ultra sharp, modernist technique.

Alla Prima
Chef Kim Jin-hyuk, at the Alla Prima restaurant, is revered by the Michelin inspectors, describing his food, they said, "His reverence for seasonal ingredients, his attention to balance, and his delicate yet assertive sauces come together like a symphony that pair well with both wines and sakes."
