Mashed potatoes with cream cheese
An easy recipe to prepare mashed potatoes with creem cheese, a classic side dish made even softer and smootier using cream cheese togeter with butter.

Potatoes
500 g
Butter
50 g
Cream cheese
75 g
Salt
Pepper
Freshly ground
Preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut in half.
Place the potatoes in a large pan of water over a high heat.
Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook the potatoes until tender.
Drain in a colander and leave in the colander for 3-4 minutes, until the steam has evaporated.
Place the potatoes in a large bowl and mash with a potato masher until smooth.
Add the butter and cream cheese and mash until incorporated.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
