Preparation
- To prepare the Swedish glogg recipe put the red wine into a pan with the cardamom, cinnamon stick and cloves and heat slowly until the wine is almost boiling.
- Reduce the heat, add the raisins and almonds to the wine and allow to infuse over a very low heat for about 15 minutes, but do not let it boil.
- Then remove the cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom if you wish.
- Put the sugar cubes into a small pan and pour the brandy over them.
- Then light the brandy with a long match and slowly melt the sugar.
- Pour into the mulled wine.
- Pour the Glögg into punch glasses with the raisins and almonds and serve immediately.
