100 g, blanched

Brandy
250 ml

Preparation

  • To prepare the Swedish glogg recipe put the red wine into a pan with the cardamom, cinnamon stick and cloves and heat slowly until the wine is almost boiling.
  • Reduce the heat, add the raisins and almonds to the wine and allow to infuse over a very low heat for about 15 minutes, but do not let it boil.
  • Then remove the cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom if you wish.
  • Put the sugar cubes into a small pan and pour the brandy over them.
  • Then light the brandy with a long match and slowly melt the sugar.
  • Pour into the mulled wine.
  • Pour the Glögg into punch glasses with the raisins and almonds and serve immediately.
