How to Make Coconut Ladoo Recipe

To prepare the coconut ladoo recipe start setting aside one cup of coconut flakes.

Cook the condensed milk and coconut flakes over medium heat in a nonstick skillet.

Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and begins to leave the sides of the skillet (about five minutes).

Turn off the heat and take skillet off the stove.

Once he mixture has cooled slightly, oil your hands and grab enough of the mixture to form a round about the size of a golf ball.

Then place the coconut round on parchment paper.

Continue to oil your hands and form the balls, working quickly before the mixture gets cold.

Once formed, roll the balls in coconut flakes then set on parchment paper.

With one fingertip press down on the center of each ladoo to form a small indentation.

Place a slivered or whole almond in the indentation. Store coconut ladoos in an airtight container in the fridge.

Note: You could also roll the coconut ladoo in crushed pistachios or almonds.
