Vanilla extract
1/2 pod, seeds
Sunflower seeds
3 tbsp
Pumpkin seeds
40 g
Almonds
30 g, roughly chopped
Coconut
25 g, flaked
Maple syrup
3 - 4 tbsp
3 - 4 tbsp
Butter
3 tbsp, melted
Cranberries
55 g, dried
Raisins
2 - 3 tbsp

Preparation

Homemade muesli: how to make muesli recipe

To prepare homemade muesli first heat the oven to 150°C (130°C in a fan oven) and line two baking trays with grease-proof paper.

In a large bowl, mix together the oats, seeds, almonds and coconut.

Mix the maple syrup and water with the melted butter and stir in evenly.

Spread the mixture out over the baking trays and bake in the oven for approx. 35 minutes until golden, turning regularly.

Leave to cool.

Mix in the fruit and tip into a decorative storage jar.

Serve the homemade muesli with yoghurt, quark or milk, for example.
