For the pie crust
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) | gas 4.
- Mix together the crushed biscuits, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Pack into the base and sides of a 23 cm | 9" fluted tart tin with the back of a damp tablespoon.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes until dry to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and set aside until needed.
