South Africa’s leading lights in the restaurant world will be honoured at the 2017 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards on Sunday, 19 November at Grand West in Cape Town. The Top 10 restaurants will be revealed in the Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino sponsored oscar style ceremony with an exciting countdown from the top 20 places. Will The Test Kitchen retain the top spot?
Quintonil - Mirazur Restaurant Swap
22 - 26 November
Chefs Mauro Colagreco and Jorge Vallejo and their teams will swap restaurants, taking their signature dishes across the Atlantic for an unprecedented and exclusive, restaurant event.
Two Michelin starred chef Mauro from Mirazur, Menton and seven of his team will host a pop-up at Quintonil in Mexico City, while South American culinary star Jorge and his chefs will simultaneously take over Mirazur on the Côte d’Azur.
Restaurant Mirazur, Menton is listed fourth in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. While Quintonil is currently ranked 22nd in the World’s 50 Best list.
