Eggnog with Cinnamon and Blackberries
A traditional Christmas drink with eggs and milk, you can either use brandy or rum, decorate with cinnamon and blackberries

ingredients
Milk
1140 ml
Eggs
6 each
Sugar
55 g
Cinnamon
1 stick, broken
Brandy
200 ml, or rum
Blackberries
to taste
Preparation
Put all the ingredients into a pan and slowly bring to simmering point, whisking constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Simmer very gently, stirring until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. Do not allow to boil.
Strain into heatproof serving glasses and dust with a little ground cinnamon. Serve with blackberries if liked.
