Terra Madre, Salone del Gusto Comes to Turin for the Unique Global Food Fair
The largest food festival in the world returns for the bi-annual festival in Turin, where food and producers from around the world will be celebrated.
The long awaited bi-annual food celebration that is Terra Madre, Salone del Gusto arrives in the heart of Turin, Italy from 22 to 26 September 2016 in a multi-cultural celebration of food around the world.
Billed as the 'most important' food event in the world the fair embraces global diversity in an energetic, diverse and engaging forum designed to celebrate food and the people involved in producing it from around the globe.
The regal Piedmont capital, will throw open the doors to visitors at a number of landmark locations around the city to welcome visitors from all corners of the world to celebrate this years theme: 'Loving the Earth'.

Palaces, museums, parks and more will host a wide array of workshops, conferences, forums, street food, exhibitions with the unmissable enormous Market at Valentino Park at the heart of the fair, where visitors can meet farmers and artisans in person and stock up on spectacular produce.
Slow Food curate the global element of the fair with a wealth of food stalls from around the world giving visitors a chance to taste unusual food and talk with the producers and over 5,000 delegates from near and far, including farmers, fishers, herders and artisans.
With a strong emphasis on sustainability special themed spaces include an area dedicated to bees, migrants, slow fish and indigenous people.
