Save the Date: Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival '16
Copenhagen celebrates its annual food festival with a smorgasbord of events to educate, stimulate and generally appreciate food and drink excellence.
Nordic food fans will already have the annual Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival noted in their diary as one of the key highlights of the culinary calendar, from August 19 - 28.
Denmark is no stranger to the spotlight when it comes to its modern culinary offering and the event in the cutting edge capital of Copenhagen serves as a great opportunity to pay homage to the internationally recognised and forward thinking cuisine. This year's apt theme of 'Breaking the New' draws attention to the country's ability to highlight new trends in food and gastronomy.
As one of the largest food events in Northern Europe, with more than 100 unique events scheduled over 10 days at the end of August the event is strategically placed to attract around 100,000 visitors to celebrate the Nordic kitchen.
Highlights include culinary masterclasses, culinary tours, cocktail workshops, talks, seminars and many more unique daily events. See the schedule for the full lowdown.
