The seventh edition of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, an event sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, crowned its winners: Odette in Singapore, the restaurant lead and owned by chef Julien Royer, is the new No. 1 of the list, after a domain four editions in a row long of Gaggan Anand's Gaggan. The third step of the podium was for DEN restaurant in Tokyo by chef Zaiyu Hasegawa. Japan leads with a record 12 entries followed by Hong Kong with nine restaurants and Thailand with eight.
For the second time, the awards ceremony was held in Macao where it will take place also next year. The event was originally staged in Singapore before moving to Thailand.
