Coming Soon: Identitá Golose Chicago 2015

Coming to the Windy City for its second consecutive year the S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna sponsored Identitá Golose will partner with the world-famous Merano Wine Festival to host Identitá Chicago.

Eataly Chicago is the chosen the location for the two days of carefully curated events showcasing the great wines and renowned cuisine of Italy.

Agenda

The first days events will kick off with a head to head chef master class featuring award-winning chefs from both Italy and the U.S. The chefs dishes will represent a“Homage to Italy” which guests will sample paired with Italian wines.

Later that evening, a four-course dinner will be held at Baffo, Eataly  together with two acclaimed Italian chefs, Heinz Beck and Christina Bowerman, and two award-winning American chefs, Giuseppe Tentori and Alex Pilas.

Chef Lidia Bastianich will lead the team of culinary luminaries, presenting guests with a communal dining experience showcasing progressive Italian dishes and wine pairings.

The following day, Identitá Golose and the Merano Wine Festival will host a one off tasting event pairing 100 of Italy’s most important wines from 30 of the country’s most acclaimed wineries with food using Italian products at La Scuola—Eataly Chicago’s cooking school.

Wine Tasting 100 selections by the Merano Wine Festival paired with Italian bites from Eataly Chicago. Wineries include: Bastianich, Mirafiore, Banfi, Cantina Terlano, Montanaro, Tasca D’Almerita, Ferrari, and Fontanafredda , and more.
