Eneko Atxa to Cook in New York
Spain's youngest three Michelin starred chef, Eneko Atxa, is heading to New York to host a series of three special dinners inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
Spanish chef Eneko Atxa is set to cook in New York for three nights this February.
Atxa, who is the youngest chef in Spain to earn three Michelin stars, will be cooking at the Asiate inside the Mandarin Oriental hotel from February 18 - 20.
The chef will be preparing a seven-course tasting menu priced at $185, wine pairings will cost $110.
Atxa’s Azurmendi restaurant is housed within a one of a kind building in Bilbao, Spain. It was picked for a special Sustainable Restaurant Award at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Ceremony in 2014, highlighting the hard work the chef has gone to in producing a unique restaurant that is truly at one with the land it occupies.
The menu is set to showcase traditional Basque cuisine but you can certainly expect the presentation to be far from the norm.
Anyone interested in booking tickets can do so using the hotel’s online reservations system.
