The 2015 Chef's Cup: Skiing and Cooking in The Italian Alps
The Italian Alps will be the stage for the 2015 Chef's Cup, a five-day celebration of haute cuisine featuring a skiing contest and cooking competition in one.
The snowcapped mountains of Sudtirol, in northeastern Italy, will be the stage for the upcoming Audi 2015 Chef’s Cup. Already in its 10th year, the event features a skiing contest and cooking competition in one of the most breathtaking locations the country has to offer.
Taking place January 18th to 23rd, the 2015 Chef's Cup will be a weeklong celebration of haute cuisine featuring special dinners, cooking demonstrations and gourmet tastings hosted by Italy's top culinary talent and international chefs. Sponsored by S.Pellegrino, the festivities will kick off with a welcome dinner on Sunday, January 18th and culminate in a dinner held after the Gran Risa ski run.
Participating chefs include event founder Norbert Niederkofler (two Michelin stars); Italian chefs Gennaro Esposito, Giancarlo Morelli, Andrea Corinaldesi, Chris Oberhammer; Norbert Kostner from Thailand; Chantel Dartnall from South Africa; Nino Graziano from Moscow; Martin Dalsassand from Switzerland; and Tomaz Kavcic from Slovenia.
