This food infographic from Tamil Recipes helps to solve that problem by explaining some common cooking oils and exactly how you should use them.
It’s starts with seven oils - vegetable, canola, coconut, corn, sunflower, olive and peanut - with a breakdown of exactly what each one is good for, for example, if you need to cook something at high temperature peanut oil is perfect. Medium temp and you could opt for coconut oil.
The infographic also features a useful set of tips on choosing healthy oils, how to store oils and how to discard them once you’ve finished cooking.
