Peter Gilmore to Open Restaurant at Sydney Opera House

Peter Gilmore of the Quay restaurant in Sydney is to open his second restaurant, taking over the Bennelong restaurant at Sydney Opera House.

Gilmore has signed a 10 year agreement to take the restaurant and told The Daily Telegraph he was ‘ver excited’ about the new venture.

Speaking about his plans for the restaurant, the chef said: “What I really envisage is a produce driven restaurant. It’s about exploring all of the great products that we produce in this country and all those great farmers and producers.”

Gilmore’s Quay restaurant is arguably one of the best restaurants in Australia and news of the chef opening a second location is sure to excite the food lovers of Sydney.
