We’ve seen some pretty interesting uses for old wine corks at FDL HQ including mini plant pots and some amazing pieces of art, however, these mini cork lamps might take the prize as being the best.
Created by Suck UK, the Bottlelight is a simple wine cork that’s been hollowed out to house a mini USB powered light.
All users have to do is charge the light and once done place the cork inside a used bottle, the light helps create a cool little lamp that the makers say will shine for up to three hours on a full charge.
The white LED of the light takes on the colour of whatever bottle it’s placed inside, making some perfect atmospheric lighting and a great talking point at the dinner table.
