The Delaware-based sculptor David Meyer always finds a way to compel you to take a second look. In his installation "Imposed Order", you need to look very close, if not multiple times, to read along the lines. This time the lines are set on the floor and the letters emerge from sifting flour.
Using a flour made alphabet Meyer repeats in concentric circles his message: Chance Or Design. Piling up flour to create letters on site, in reality, the impression we get is that the message is there to stay.
Known for his use of basic materials, Meyer, now a Professor at the University of Delaware, has had solo exhibitions throughout the United States, Take a look at his website to find out more about his work.
