Luxury steakhouse STK in Las Vegas has debuted a $30,000 steak knife studded in sapphires for VIP female diners. The knife cannot be sold or requested, instead it is available by invitation only at the discretion of the restaurant's staff.
The 6.5 carat knife was designed by celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills and crowned with 300 pink sapphires. It took 300 hours of manual labor to construct this glittering knife, which compliments STK's diamond knife, as reported by Eater.
Before this sapphire beauty came along, celebrity couples like LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian had to share STK's diamond knife, according to the Las Vegas Sun. Now, Hollywood dames will have access to their own blinged out knife.
Celebrities and VIPs who use the knife will be invited to sign a notebook documenting their experience. Rocker Gavin Rossdale had this to day: "It cut like a knife but glitters like the best girl.'' How's that for some food bling?
