Conceived by French designer Damien Gires for Le Plan B, Urban Terrasse project is a piece of DIY communicative street furniture which is meant to allow cafés and private views to 'spill out' onto the streets.
The simple construction of the tables are made from printable and foldable recycled cardboard which have been developed in a way that they can be attached to existing anti-parking posts along the sidewalk, transforming the street infrastructure into temporary occasional surfaces for use to place a drink or bag.
The graphics exhibited on the 'urban terrasses' can be customized according to one's needs, acting both as functional furniture piece and advertising medium at the same time.
