If Milan has positioned itself at the forefront of food becoming a gourmet capital in Italy, Rome follows close behingd with many innovative dining options in store for early 2019.
In fact, since the close of 2018 and the beginning of the new year, the capital can now boast a number of interesting and varied restaurants, ready to enrich its gastronomic offer.

Internationally know, Rossano Boscolo, the confectioner and founder of the Campus Étoile Academy, has now opened the doors of his "cage of taste", in which the promising young chefs from the school are put to work in the kitchen. Santucci
Fabrizio Santucci, of the same family who inaugurated the historic Caminetto in 1959, opens a restaurant dedicated to Mediterranean specialities to Parioli, specialising in seafood. The menu starts from Mazara del Vallo for shellfish and touches all of the Mediterranean to bring the best fish to the table. There is no shortage of "ajo oio e peperoncino", home-made bread, egg-noodles and some meat dishes.

TBSP GALLIA LOUNGE RESTAURANT
The first restaurant of the TBSP project - The Bbq & Smoke Project realized by the Galli Group has arrived in the San Giovanni area. The TBSP Gallia Lounge Restaurant, which sees chef Claudio Nani and Pit-master Chef in the kitchen, presents itself as a very "american style" meat driven address, with fine cuts and pastrami. The owners of Okasan have doubled up in the Trieste district with a new Japanese restaurant featuring Kansai cuisine, the region considered to be the heart of the Japanese island. Behind the counter is sushi master Fumio Saito. This authentic Japanese address follows the recent inauguration of Hiromi Cake, the first Japanese patisserie in the city under the same owner.

L'AVVOLGIBILE
Shortly before the Christmas holidays, Adriano Baldassarre inaugurated his popular trattoria in Rome, in the Appio Latino neighborhood, where he was born. Now the place has found its rhythm, and offers everyday traditional dishes like, pasta and beans, tonnarelli cheese and pepper, pasta and potatoes and baccala. A glass of house wine is two euros.
