The final, extended episode of Anthony Bourdain’s award winning television show, Parts Unknown, is set to air Sunday, November 11th.
Set in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the show sees Bourdain revisit the neighborhood where he has his first NYC restaurant job as the enigmatic presenter meets with artists, musicians and a photographer as Bourdain let’s people see a glimpse of his roots.
During the episode, Bourdain and his chosen guests lament on what the Lower East Side of New York used to be, the color and character it once resonated and how, unfortunately, much of it has now been washed away. All of this reminiscing is of course washed down over delicious shared food.
This is Parts Unknown unlike you’ve ever seen it before. It’s Bourdain even more open and transparent than usual and it’s a perfect goodbye to a legendary host and legendary show.
