What is 50 Top Pizza?
The ranking of thousands pizzerias in Italy and around the world made by 100 anonymous inspectors - each pizzeria is judge on several criteria including quality, service, the wine and beer list, research, and the restaurant interiors.
While 50 Top Pizza's site counts down positions from 500 to 51 on the website, on 30 June, in New York - following the American LSDM stop - with the Road to Naples 2017, the first prizes for the international categories will be awarded.
While Italy remains the home of pizza, there are of course, plenty of interesting versions to explore overseas.
Through the contribution of 100 industry experts from around the world, there are 7 different pizza styles included in the contest and divided into 5 continents.

In addition, the Innovation and Sustainability Award will also be announced in New York, benefiting from the American platform in progressing the project devoted to the best Italian pizzerias and special prizes.
Following the first announcements in New York on 30 June Top 50 Pizza will announce the full list on 20 July at the Castel dell'Ovo in Napoli, which will also be live-streamed.
