Inge Meijs from the Netherlands and grew up on a her father’s farm, she’s a women who is passionate about food, art, and the idea of feeding the world with culinary creativity.
It’s the last statement that Meijs focuses on in the video below. Presented at Food on The Edge, she talks about her Gastronomixs, a platform for chefs to access different tools to improve their own creativity in the kitchen, created around five years ago alongside Jeroen van Oijen.

Waste, menus, concepts and new dishes - chefs are creative beasts and Gastronomixs has been developed to try and encourage the process of creativity.
The site helps to give clever building blocks to chefs so they can create new dishes.
Meijs also believes that if chefs are given the correct tools they will be able to find a new appreciation for lesser used ingredients.
