On 24 and 25 January 2017, the grand final of the Bocuse d’Or sponsored by S.Pellegrino, the world's most prestigious gastronomy competition, returns to Lyon, France. The final will see chefs from 24 countries compete for a chance to top the podium in what is sure to be a thrilling cook-off, held as part of the massive Sirha expo.
2017 is also the 30th anniversary of the biennial Bocuse d’Or, adding an extra layer of tension and prestige to proceedings. Norwegian Ørjan Johannessen claimed gold in 2015, but who will triumph in 2017?
Fine Dining Lovers will be reporting live from the competition, but to get you in the mood, we’ve compiled some great images from 30 years of the Bocuse d’Or, which really capture the spirit, the action and most importantly the incredible food on show at the ultimate chefs competition.
