The Bocuse d’Or Germany 2016 winner is 27 year old chef Marvin Böhm (pictured centre above), from Restaurant Aqua at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Marvin Böhm, together with Commis Hanna Karthaus, impressed the jury of the Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino sponsored German final in Stuttgart with his sturgeon, lamb and sweetbread creation. On being awarded the winner of the nationwide prestigious cooking competition chef Böhm said "I have spent many hours and nights working on the recipe.. And then everything went well in the kitchen...... I am very happy! "

Second and third place were awarded after very close scrutiny from the judges, with Eric Kröber from Hamburg, headchef at Clouds Heaven’s Kitchen narrowly taking silver, with bronze being awarded to Martin Stopp from Saarlouis (“La Maison Hotel”).
Marvin Böhm, will go on to represent Germany at the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2016 in Budapest on 10/11 May 2016.
