We first noticed Ida Skivenes' distinctive food art back in 2013, shortly after she had created her art on toast project. Fast forward two years and Ida has turned her fun edible food art style into a burgeoning global success.
Having started out 'more or less by accident' she told Business Insider back in June 2012, Ida's ambition was simply to share 'healthy, creative breakfasts' on Instagram making food 'fun and creative' and to 'share it with the world' she explains on her website.
Creating art that is 'easy to understand and communicates across countries and languages' seems to have been the key to Ida's success. With several ad campaigns and TV appearances behind her in what is now her fully fledged career seems there is no going back to her desk job.
With 283K followers on her @idaFrosk Instagram account Ida has secured a faithful following and even recently published a book translated into seven languages.
