Expo Milano is getting ready to offer the American ex-pats and visitors in Italy a big celebration this Saturday with a whole host of events to mark Independence Day.
On top of a special dinner at the James Beard Foundation restaurant, the USA Pavilion will also host a series of events throughout the day with visitors truly transported back to the States with a marching band, traditional picnic and a big party full of family fun.
Kids are truly welcome at events with live music, temporary tattoos and cupcakes on offer. The event will take a different angle as the The Nasty Granny’s Blues Band set about playing in the night.
Visitors will also be able to stroll throughout the USA pavilion, a space that’s packed with an interactive exhibition, a huge vertical farm and a real board walk repurposed from Coney Island.
