Meet Elena Limkina, a Russian artist who left a career as a medical engineer to become a watercolor artist. She is especially passionate about painting flowers and food and has a sharp eye for capturing those little details that make her art seem completely realistic.
Limkina's latest work is a year-long project in which she creates miniature illustrations every day. Among her creations you'll find delectable treats like coffee and croissants, cheese and wine, cupcakes, movie theater popcorn and ornate vegetables like artichokes.
