In the video below you’ll watch how two burger lovers from London launched a burger and fries into space.
The mission was carried out by Chosen Bun, a London burger delivery start-up, who previously tried to send a burger into space but failed. This time around the burger joint successfully launched a burger and fries 112,00 feet in the air into an area technically called “near space.”
This project required “lots of helium and a balloon the size of a two-bedroom house,” co-founder Andy Shovel told the Telegraph, explaining he and his accomplice Peter Sharman did it for laughs.
For the record, this isn't the first time a burger is launched into space it is the first time it was accompanied by fries, First We Feast reports.
Take a look at how Shovel and Sharman launched a burger and fries into space, a feat that costs them about £2,000. Ketchup, anyone?
