Shopping at Eataly can be an incredibly overwhelming experience. With a dizzying array of Italian products on display - including pastas, breads, salumi, cheese, olive oils, sauces, gelato and fresh produce - navigating the aisles of this upscale market is akin to walking through a labyrinth, albeit a delicious one.
Finally, the team at Eataly have put together a lovely guide for shopping at the Italian market which has 26 locations around the world, including New York and Chicago. Titled How To Eataly: A Guide to Buying, Cooking, and Eating Italian Food, the book features advice about shopping at Eataly, what to eat while you visit and how to transform the ingredients you picked up at the market into fabulous Italian dishes.
Eataly founder Oscar Farinetti, Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich and Joe Bastianich provide 100 recipes and ideas for how to assemble an antipasto platter, how to use olive oil, how to eat breakfast like an Italian and much more. Recipes include Acorn Squash with Lentils, Vesuvio Pasta with Sausage, and Panna Cotta with Streusel.
The book will debut October 14th. It will retail for $35 on Amazon. Pre-order here.
