We recently brought you the rice cooker for the car developed in Japan and now we're happy to show you this great little rice cooker for the microwave.
All users have to do is add rice and water to the bottom of the cooker and place it in the microwave. The rice is cooked without any overflow of water and the vessel can double up as a serving plate.
The makers, Lekue, say it can be used to cook a range of ingredients including couscous and buckwheat and it's easily cleaned in the dishwasher after use.
It costs $35 and is available to order through the Lekue website.
