The popular book Where Chefs Eat, which sets out a guide on the places where some of the world's best chefs like to eat, is now available to download as an OSX application.
Produced by Phaidon, the book features restaurant recommendations from around 400 chefs including Rene Redzepi, Alex Atala and Daniel Boulud. The chef's insider tips have now been transported into the new app allowing adventurous food lovers to seek out great eats in a range of cities around the world.
There's over 2,000 dining recommendations and it really is a unique way to experience the food in a new place.
Books are great but for something like a culinary guide, apps just make perfect sense. Users can filter the recommendations immediately by geography allowing quick and easy access to a whole list of possible dining opportunities when in a new place.
So if you fancy grabbing a bite in the same places as England's Heston Blumental, America's David Kinch or Sweden's Magnus Nilsson - take a look at the Where Chefs Eat app. It's available for iPhone and iPad and currently costs £10.95.
