The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is known for serving up unique desserts based on the works of artists like Mondrian and Warhol. Now, all of those amazing desserts have been compiled into the Modern Art Desserts cookbook.
The cookbook is authored by pastry chef Caitlin Freeman, who works at the museum's Blue Bottle Coffee Bar. Freeman and her colleagues Tess Wilson and Leah Rosenberg are the talent behind the cafe's Mondrian cake and other delectable curiosities (like the intriguing banana dish you'll see in the video below).
Freeman's 27 mouthwating desserts will inspire you to show off your creative streak, even if you end up making a mess and spilling chocolate all over your new book. That's why the chef recommends buying two books: one for the kitchen and another for your coffee table.
Modern Art Desserts will go on sale April 16th, you can pre-order your copy from Amazon. Check out a preview of the book below.
