The founders of Apartamento, Omar Sosa and photographer Nacho Alegre, paired up with graphic designer Ana Dominguez to create a new kind of still life project. Set in Barcelona, Apartamento's glamorous success for showcasing living interiors this time took a playful turn with a food project: namely bread and its many varieties.
Featured on the magazine's 8th issue, the Bread sculptures balance different weights in a remarkable act. This is a series shot by Nacho Alegre, a visual tribute to baguettes, ciabatta, rye, loafs in general.
As loafs sit atop another, foodies find a new trend to love, or perhaps try at home. Towers of bread defying the law of gravity and glorifying the art of bread making.
Baking, making, balancing, and finally taking pictures.
