While celebrity chefs like Tom Colicchio and Eric Ripert are keeping busy with their own YouTube shows, domestic maven Martha Stewart is venturing into the world of sitcoms.
Stewart will be the executive producer of a new Fox series called Tao of Martha, according to Deadline. The show is based on the upcoming book with the same name. It will feature a former party girl-turned-single mother who decides to turn her life around by getting organized by channeling her inner Martha and writing a book it - a la Julie & Julia.
Tao of Martha is set to air next fall. So far, there is no news about who will star in the new sitcom but Stewart may appear ocassionally and in voice overs. It's safe to assume there will be a lot of cooking on the show as the lead character changes her life one omelette at a time.
