Even Superheroes Need to Eat

Ever wondered what superman does when he's still in costume but needs to pop in to the store for a pint of milk on the way home? Or how Spiderman shops for a dinner party? Probably not and that's because super heros are, well, super. Imagining them doing mundane daily tasks makes them just a bit too human.

These pictures from the photographer Chow Kar Hoo set out to capture superheroes as we've never seen them before.

Weather it's Wolverine in the kitchen preparing a steak or Batman in a night market getting ready to shop - Chow has created some images that certainly show off a new side to the super hero life.
