The AA Hospitality Awards were in full swing last night with a number of accolades and fresh rosettes handed out to chefs and restaurants.
The French Master Pierre Koffmann picked up chef of the year and Dinner by the British chef Heston Blumenthal continues to gain praise, nominated as the best restaurant in London.
Koffmann said he was very happy and that he was "thrilled to have won". He also claimed that the award meant so much because it was voted for by other chefs.
Church Green British Grill in England, Rogano in Scotland and Sosban in Wales were all picked up as the best restaurant in their geographical areas.
The London Restaurant Hibicus was promoted to the maximum five rosettes, the only restaurant to achieve such a high ranking. Jason Atherton over a Pollen St Social was awarded his fourth rosette.
The Limewood Hotel in New Forrest England picked up the Hotel of the Year in England on a night that was packed full of awards
