During Barack Obama's campaign bus tour across the state of Florida a sweet surprise was revealed: his daughters Sasha and Malia love gelato.
This small detail came to light when the president of the United States was bonding with Franco di Bello, a Floridian man with Italian roots, at a cafe in Cocoa. Obama told Bello his family holds Italy close to their heart. ''We have been to Rome and the Vatican. The girls loved it. Even more so because they got to eat gelato every day,''' he told Bello, according to Italian publication Corriere della Sera.
