If you are the type of person who could use a little help in the kitchen, you'll love what researchers at the Tokyo Institute of Technology have come up with: a cooking simulator.
The virtual reality cooking simulator is actually a frying pan hooked up to cables that allow you to feel the weight of the ''ingredients'' in the pan. When you ''cook'' what you actually see is a three-dimensional image of the contents of the frying pan that gets reflected through a half-mirror. This way you can practice cooking without burning and or wasting food.
