Musical Homage To Julia Child

Julia Child will forever be known as an American pioneer, the woman who brought French food into our dining room tables. On August 15th, Julia would have marked her 100th birthday.

With that in mind the team at WGBH has put together a video montage of Julia's most memorable and funny television moments: like the time she lined up chickens on the counter or when she's holding up an umbrella proclaiming ''I'm drying lettuce.''

Julia's humorous clips are set to the tune of Guns & Rose's 'Sweet Child O' Mine.' Given her cheeky sense of humor, we think Julia would be honored. Happy 100th Birthday to America's queen of cooking!
