Chefs in Krakow have made the world's largest lasagna as a sign of appreciation for the Italian national team, who decided to base themselves in the city throughout Euro 2012.
It took 10 hours to cook and when finished made around 10,000 portions. The executive chef behind the recird breaking dish, Grzegorz Kazubski, stated that he was happy to, "Do something that shows that the Poles are very proud the Italians choose this place to stay during the Euro Cup."
Italy beat England on Sunday to progress to the semi-finals of the competition. They will continue to stay in Krakow and who knows what the Polish chefs have planned next, perhaps a giant pizza.
