People's Pops sells ice pops and shaved ice made from fresh, local and sustainable fruits and herbs. Part of their appeal are the unique flavor combinations like raspberry basil and cantaloupe tarragon. They also sell boozy pops in flavors like peach bourbon.
The busines was founded by three friends who believed New Yorkers deserved better ice cream. People's Pops became so successful that the trio published a companion cookbook full of tips for making your own ice pops and experimenting with fruits, herbs and vegetables.
