The gorgeous illustrations pictured above are the work of Kali Ciesemier, an American illustrator who has worked with publications like the New Yorker, Harper Collins and LA Times.
A foodie at heart, Kali documents her eating adventures through her illustrated food diary Kali Eats. She deconstructs each meal, turning it into original illustration. Lately, Kali has been on a sandwich kick but she has also illustrated pasta dishes. Each illustration comes with its own recipe.
Aside from freelancing as an illustrator, Kali is also an adjunct professor in the Maryland Institute College of Art. Needless to say, this is art that makes you hungry.
