For those wanting to get to know more about beer and the many developments taking place in the industry there is the documentary Beer Wars.
The doc looks at the American beer industry and follows the plight of two local, independent brewers who find themselves in a David and Goliath battle with many of America's corporate brewing giants. It also examines how the American perception and view of beer is changing and how smaller less profit driven companies are providing thousands of unique beers in an attempt to change the publics perception of the beverage.
The movie was shortlisted as part of the New York Food Film Festival and the story of these innovative brewers shunning the status quo in search of new and exciting brews echoes much of what is happening across the food and drink sector.
