Almost every culture has their own version of easy flatbread. This is a simple version than anyone can make as it requires no yeast, no kneading, no time to prove and no oven. With just a few elementary ingredients that everyone has at hand, you will be able to serve delicious, hot flatbread with every meal and snack you ever make.
Ingredients
300g (2 cups) All-purpose flour
5g (1 tsp) Salt
5g (1 tsp) Sugar
480ml (2 cups) Water
15g (1 tbsp) Cooking oil
Tips
A total of two cups of water, both warm and cold water, need to be added in 2-3 passes, so that the batter can be mixed very quickly. Make sure to keep pressing the edges of the flatbread with a spatula, this will trap air and allow it to puff up. Keep the heat on medium-low, or close to medium, Cover with a tea towel when done, until ready to serve.
