Charleston Wine + Food Fair swings around again for it's annual sellout five days of food fun from 6 to 10 March 2019, sponsored by Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino.
Showcasing all that's exciting about the lowlands food, wine and spirit scene there are over 100 events planned to tempt and excite food and wine lovers with a good side serving of entertainment.
From celebrity chef demos, cooking classes and local culinary excursions to discovering the regions' diverse produce and seafood and how to cook them as well as sampling the city's diverse cuisine, cocktails and incredible wines, this is one not to miss.
The Culinary Village forms the heart + soul of Charleston Wine + Food, with a bigger spread of food than ever before. It's open for the whole of festival week, and an all-inclusive daily ticket guarantees five hours of tasting, sipping, chef demos, live music, retail therapy, and more.
Event Highlights:
Over 50 guest chefs, like Gavin Kaysen, will be in town for the occasion adding some extra flavour to some of Charleston's finest. Alongside them a host of wine and beer professional, artists and farmers and purveyors allowing visitors to sample their finest produce.
Signature Events are selling fast, but there are still tickets for several events including "Truffle Shuffle", a morning of discovering Urbani truffles, Whisky warriors with the industry's "fiercest female distillers" and Burned, an evening event sipping and snacking whilst listening to industry experts give their stories on a theme, from BBQ to chilis. And, if you want to get stuck in, try some hands on classes like learning how to pickle.
The signature dinners are an all time favourite, with most having sold out already but you can still get your lunch on with events like the Grace and Grit wine lunch inspired by southern delicacies.
