Italian supercar manufacturer Ferrari has announced it will open a new restaurant at its headquarters in Maranello and it will be helmed by none other than Massimo Bottura.
The yet-to-be-named restaurant will open towards the end of 2020 in the space currently occupied by Cavallino restaurant and will be installed with entirely new management with Bottura to helm the kitchen. Maranello the famed home of the 'Prancing Horse' car brand is a mere 16 kilometres from Modena, where Bottura has his three Michelin starred Osteria Francescana.
Bottura, himself a super car enthusiast, can rely on his own network of local suppliers to create a menu that captures the essence of the Emilia Romagna region, to which Ferrari is so deeply entwined.
The new restaurant is part of Ferrari’s drive to partner with other big names in ‘Italian excellence’ which will see the car manufacturer link up with Italian fashion brand Armani.
